Students love reading! Just Kidding. How do we build a culture of reading and make reading time valuable? How do we get kids to pick up books on their own? Our session will provide strategies that have worked for us at East High, including working hand in hand with the librarian and teacher, book tasting activities, First Chapter Friday, and reading for the fun of it.
