I L🤎VE my role as a high school counselor! It integrates academics, social/emotional topics, college- & career-readiness, problem-solving, credits and data tracking, and so much more varieties...let's just say, it's never a dull moment in Viking office 5.
I also enjoy decorating and making things "aesthetic pleasing". I am a type 'A', so I nerd out using Google products to simplify life as well as tech tools like Calendly, Canva, and all the things the district shares with us throughout the years.
I have been in this career as a counselor for 8 years now; I previously taught math, AVID, and even some littles at the elementary level.
